“The year of our company’s 100th anniversary is, in every respect, a remarkable year for our group of companies. Celebrating our company's anniversary naturally makes us quite proud. However, first and foremost, we are grateful to our trade partners for the decades of cooperation and the level of trust they have placed in us. However, 2020 is also the year of the corona pandemic, which probably poses the greatest challenges worldwide for the economy and our coexistence today,” explains Olaf Rohrbeck, Chairman of the Management Board at Bürkle.
The group is facing up to this difficult situation for everyone. Today, nobody could make a reliable forecast of what will improve when, how and where. However, Bürkle also sees in the crisis the opportunity for lasting change and a broader focus. Bürkle is determined to take new paths with courage and pursue the ones already taken with even greater determination. “This is why sustainability and continued strategic internationalisation are the order of the day for us,” continues Rohrbeck. The acknowledged high level of performance is secured in the long term and the already introduced value creation and location strategy is consistently pursued, structures are thus optimised and skills pooled. This is considered, above all, a positive development of competitiveness and a further benefit for trade partners.

The portfolio boasts intelligent solutions for all areas, from press technology for the PCB industry, to the core segment of surface finishing systems for the furniture and door industry or highly automated doubling and downstream systems for the insulation industry.
“Engineering still is and will remain part of our DNA. It is the driving force behind the sustained further development of our core technologies in particular. We are well positioned, focused on the future and will tackle the coming challenges with determination and motivation.” Rohrbeck faces the coming years with realistic optimism.
